I’m Taiwanese. I was born in Japan. And I fell in love with America shopping in a gigantic Target while studying abroad in Austin, Texas (hook ‘em horns). 

I came to the US in 2020 to find my voice in advertising and get my Master’s. Instead, I found myself in a global lockdown. Luckily I survived, and the days doodling in my notebook turned to days in front of a monitor obsessing over pixel placement as an Art Director in Chicago.

I like to look for beauty in places that seem ordinary, which makes me sound basic. But I’m not. It’s a fine line (see below for a shameless self-promotion). Sometimes… almost every time… I find that beauty while hunting for the best pastries in the city.
